Improving Livelihoods
We work with the most affected population enhancing the livelihood opportunities for the needy and vulnerable affected people building their ability to enjoy basic human rights tied to access to livelihood. To reach our objective, AAHRED programming is based on evidences and available resources to work in emergencies, building local capacities and supporting short and long term development objectives.
Our capacity building efforts is aimed at improving people’s production, processing and utilization of resources and opportunities; access to household income, credit and market, enhancing businesses, vocational skills and in building communities’ assets. We take into consideration active participation of all stakeholders, sustainability, appropriateness, macro-micro interaction, empowering communities, equality and strategic intervention that include:
